    American Grammy-Award winning composer Richard Danielpour has established himself as one of the most gifted and sought-after composers of his generation. His list of commissions include some of the most celebrated artists of our day including Yo-Yo Ma, Jessye Norman, Dawn Upshaw, Susan Graham, Gil Shaham, Frederica von Stade, the Guarneri and Emerson String Quartets, the New York City, Pacific Northwest and Nashville Ballets, and institutions such as the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Maryinsky and Vienna Chamber Orchestras and many more.

    Casale’s compositions have been performed by a number of concert institutions: BBC Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra della Rai, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Venice Biennale and many others.
    He wrote the video-opera Conversations with Chomsky for the Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio Emilia and for the Parco della Musica in Rome. The text of this work was written under the supervision of the linguist and political activist Noam Chomsky.

    Czech composer Kryštof Mařatka (born in Prague in 1972) lives and works in Prague and Paris since 1994. The versatility which marks his artistic activities, carried out between several countries, is often considered as a strong link that he creates between the various cultural universes which he’s inspired by or which he interrogates, while discovering new ways of musical expression. His compositions have been commissioned by various institutions (the French Government, the Evian Competition, the Association Musique Nouvelle en Liberté, the Prince of Polignac, the Présences Festival, and many more.

  • BRUNO MONSAINGEON

    Bruno Monsaingeon (Paris, 1943) is an acclaimed film director and writer. Trained as a violinist, his contact with the work of Glenn Gould led him to make and produce music-themed documentaries, most of them focusing on the most notable performers of 20th century classical music. He is the author of some of the most famous documentaries on Gould, such as Glenn Gould, the Alchemist (1974); Glenn Gould. The Goldberg Variations (1981) and Glenn Gould, hereafter (2006), as well as several books dedicated to Gould, Sviatoslav Richter and Nadia Boulanger.

  • ROLAND PÖNTINEN

    Roland Pöntinen is one the most widely recorded contemporary pianists with well over 100 titles on labels like BIS, c p o, Philips, EMI, Arte Nova and his own label Haddock. The repertoire on these recordings mirrors his interest in a variety of musical styles, much of the well known literature for piano from Bach to Ligeti but also a good share of more seldom heard works by Busoni, Pfitzner and Szymanowski. Pöntinen’s recordings are often linked to certain themes.
